How PostEx Tracking Statuses Progress
PostEx carries parcels for online shops across Pakistan. Each parcel goes through the same main steps: booking, pickup, travel between cities, sorting in your city and delivery. Knowing what each status means helps you know when to expect your parcel and what to do if there is a problem.
This page is a quick table of statuses. For the full step-by-step story of what happens between scans, read our PostEx shipment journey guide.
Status Code Lookup Table
Order Created / Booked
The seller has booked the parcel in the PostEx seller account and printed a label. The parcel is waiting for a PostEx rider to collect it.
Shipment Picked Up
A PostEx rider has collected the parcel from the seller and is taking it to the city sorting centre.
Arrived at Origin Hub
The parcel has reached the sorting centre in the seller’s city, where it is weighed, measured and packed with others going the same way.
On the way to your city’s hub
The parcel is travelling between hubs in different cities. It is not scanned while the vehicle is moving.
Arrived at Destination Facility
The truck has arrived at the hub in your region. Parcels are sorted by area.
Arrived at Delivery Station
The parcel has reached the delivery station for your area and will be sorted into a rider’s round.
Out for Delivery
A rider has the parcel on their bike or van and is out delivering in your area during working hours.
Delivered
The parcel has been handed to you, or someone for you, at the address, and any payment has been collected.
Consignee Unavailable / Unreachable
The rider came or called, but the phone was not answered or nobody was there to take the parcel.
Address Incomplete / Incorrect
The rider could not find the house, building or street from the address the shop gave.
Customer Rescheduled
You asked the rider to deliver another day, or the round finished before the rider reached you.
Returned to Shipper (RTO)
After failed delivery tries, a refusal or a request from the seller, the parcel is going back to the seller’s warehouse.
What to Do When Delivery Goes Wrong
Problems such as a phone nobody answers or an incomplete address need quick action. Parcels can be sent back to the shop after failed tries, so act fast to keep yours in your city:
